IntelligenTek was founded in Dec. 2004 as a NASA technology partner at the NASA Research Park in Moffett Field, CA to develop solutions for video data input and virtual interactivity through artificial audio-visual intelligence. Our technology's primary functionality is the ability to locate, identify, and track objects in crowded environments and under various lighting conditions.
We are now developing a suite of software solutions incorporating our proprietary patent-pending technology which gives us the capability of overcoming many of the limitations often encountered with recognizing and processing 3-D data from a conventional 2-D video source. Because of this, we are able to provide an innovative solution for object character recognition, the accurate tracking of a moving object or person, differentiation among various motions from normal to overt, detection of a falling-down motion versus bending over, and identification and recognition of facial features and distinguishing between look-alikes.
Julius Lin, Chief Technology Officer
Julius developed the core technology and has 16 years in software design, development and consulting experience. He was Senior Engineer at eBay and Senior Architect (MTS) at Applied Materials. Julius did post-graduate PhD studies and holds a MS in CS from CSU and a BA from the National Taiwan University.
Jim Martin, Vice President, R&D.
Jim has over 25 years of R&D management, advanced product development, and technology partnering experience, encompassing both the private sector as well as government agencies. Previously VP of R&D at Keimar, Inc., Deputy Project Manager at SLAC, and Director of Rockwell's Information and Decision Sciences Lab, Jim has led applied research and new product development in machine vision, situation awareness, resource allocation, data mining, design software, and artificial intelligence. Jim holds a BSEE from Iowa State University and a PhD in Physics from MIT.
Blake Chen, Vice President, Engineering.
Prior to joining IntelligenTek, Blake was the satellite image processing systems engineer at Taiwan's National Space Organization. Blake has over 20 years experience in design and development experience, specifically in image processing system research, design, analysis, simulation, and performance evaluation. Blake was appointed as the physics research assistant at the Academia Sinica, the highest national academic institute in Taiwan. Blake received his BS from the National Cheng Kung University and his MS from the National Taiwan University.
